• Identify and make follow up of contacts.
• Guide the implementation of control measures.
• Detect and contain outbreaks among vulnerable populations.
• Evaluate the impact of the pandemic on health-care systems and society.
• Monitor longer term epidemiologic trends and evolution of SARS-CoV-2.
• Understand the co-circulation of SARS-CoV-2, influenza and other respiratory viruses.
