Adrenaline (epinephrine)
1:1000, immediate
intramuscular injection to
the midpoint of
anterolateral aspect of the
middle third of the thigh.

Repeat every 5–15 minutes as
needed until there is resolution of
the anaphylaxis.

Note: Persisting or worsening
cough associated with pulmonary
oedema is an important sign of
adrenaline overdose and toxicity.

According to age

Children: 0.01mg/kg
Adults: 0.2 mL to maximum of 0.5 mL.
