Pre-Triage Process

• Pre-triage is an area for sorting out clients into COVID 19 suspected clients from non-suspects based on signs, symptoms and contact history to exposed people. 
  
• All health facility entrances should have a pre-triage system, and all the clients and facility staff should be pre-triaged.
• In addition, hand sanitizer or water and soap should be placed at the exit and entrance of the health facility.
• COVID-19 suspected clients at pre-triage should be directed to a COVID-19 designated isolation area. 
  
• COVID-19 not suspected clients at pre-triage will be directed to regular service areas.
