• The basic COVID-19 care level aims at:  
• containment 
• basic level of patient care
• Have the capability to manage patients throughout the disease cycle
• Can be established at any level
• Sole site for the care and management of patients with COVID-19
• Expected to have adequate amount of PPE for a minimum of 1 week
