Clinical Management

• No specific anti-viral or vaccine against SARS-CoV2
• Mild cases: 
• The elderly and immuno-suppressed may present with atypical symptoms
• These patients do not have any signs of dehydration, sepsis or shortness of breath
• WHO recommends home care under certain preconditions for Suspected COVID-19 patients with mild features
• No underlying/concomitant chronic illness
• When inpatient care is unavailable or unsafe
• In case of informed refusal of hospitalization
• Communication link with health care provider should be established during the  home care
• Patient and household members should be educated on basic IPC
• Anti-pyretics, fluids, rest
