What are the Module Objectives?

By the end of this module, the learner will be able to:

• Communicate WHO and MoH guidance on home based isolation and care (HBIC) for COVID-19 patients.
• Explain the purpose of Home-based isolation and care of confirmed COVID-19 patients.
• Determine eligibility of COVID-19 patients for home based isolation and care.
• Identify steps for follow up of COVID-19 patients on HBIC and referral to facility based care or discharge.
• Provide guidance to household members/caregivers and COVID-19 patients on basic hygiene and IPC requirements for HBIC.
• Identify steps for providing psychosocial support for COVID-19 patients enrolled to HBIC.
