Home Setup Factors for Enrolment of COVID-19 Patients in HBICC
- Presence of community health volunteer or appropriate caregiver at home who is able to provide relevant information about the patient’s condition.
- Proper setup preventing infection spread. If applicable, separate room with toilet, bathroom, and kitchen.
- If a separate room is not available, the patient’s resting area should be 2 meters apart from other household members and, toilet/bathroom facility and kitchen should be cleaned after every use.
- Access to adequate basic personal protective equipment (PPE) for the patient, caregiver and family members [(e.g., Face masks, Gloves(optional)].
- Ability to adhere to the standard droplet precautions (e.g., appropriate cough etiquette).
