What are symptoms of COVID-19 mild illness?

• Majority of COVID-19 patients present with no or mild symptoms.
• When considering patients for home-based isolation and care, the decision will be made based on the severity of the symptoms.
• Mild COVID-19 illness suitable for home-based isolation and care usually presents with symptoms of uncomplicated upper respiratory tract infection that include:
• Fever
• Fatigue
• Cough - with or without sputum production
• Loss of appetite
• Malaise
• Muscle pain

• Some people with mild COVID-19 illness may develop other nonspecific symptoms like:
• Sore throat
• Nasal congestion
• Headache
• Nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea
• Loss of smell and taste
