Instructions for Health Workers on Commencement of HBIC

• Document all relevant patients’ information.
• Educate patients and household members on personal hygiene, and basic IPC measures.
• Educate on basic care activities and precautions to safely care for confirmed COVID-19 cases to prevent the infection from spreading to household members.
• Provide a Phone contact number for the family members to call for daily reporting of the patient's condition or any emergency.
• Communicate to caregivers to quarantine for 14 days after the patient has recovered and self-monitor for COVID-19-like symptoms while following strict precautions.
