Activities to Carry Out to Improve Community Engagement and Ownership

• Map relevant stakeholders and establish coordination platforms with their specified roles
• Identify volunteers, build their capacity and involve in COVID-19 response
• Conduct community dialogue and community outreach programs
• Establish public listening/feedback platforms in which the community can participate in giving suggestions, sharing concerns and creating awareness regularly.
• Conduct regular meetings with the identified stakeholders
• Support the community to come up with solutions to identified gaps
• Involve religious leaders , community leaders, volunteer representatives in regular meetings
• Empower the community members and representatives to follow on adherence and practice of NPIs such as during mourning, holidays, market places (Security, volunteers, religious leaders/associations, Idir representatives, government and society structures can follow implementation at their own communities)
