Responsibilities of Woreda and Kebele COVID-19 Task Forces

• Orient HEWs and health workers at health facilities (woreda task force).
• Orient women and men development groups (WDGs and MDG), religious leaders, youth associations & other societal platform leaders (e.g., Idir, religious associations) and engage them in the prevention of COVID-19.
• Organize, lead and integrate COVID-19 prevention responses.
• Follow the implementation of measures taken by the government in preventing COVID-19.
• Identify, recruit and engage volunteers.
• Identify and address malpractices that will expose the community to risk and act on them accordingly.
• Facilitate joint planning with community members on NPI.
• Set performance monitoring system with regulatory mechanism.
