Community Engagement in COVID-19

What is community engagement?

It is a process of involving different community members, groups, community platforms, and relevant stakeholders to take part in the COVID-19 response. 

Key activities recommended for engaging communities

•  Establish taskforces at woreda and kebele (community) level that will lead the coordination process
• Map and identify different community platforms and stakeholders that will be engaged in preventing COVID-19
• Ensure multisectoral engagement for COVID-19 response
