Important Procedures and Care at Temporary Isolation Unit (TIU)

• As soon as the TIU receives the suspected travelers ensure the suspect cover his/her mouth and nose with face mask
• The health care provider should check the temperature and other status of the suspected case  and provide care as needed
• Fill the detailed travelers’ health screening form and send to the surveillance team immediately
• Call the RRT (Ambulance team)
• Transfer the suspected case and the packed wastes to the ambulance
• Transport the suspected case to Treatment Unit
• Disinfect, secure and pack the waste with biohazard bag  
• Disinfect all the potential risk areas and equipment and passenger’s belonging
• Keep the suspect’s belonging to the designated room
