Clinical Features
The clinical features associated with COVID-19 include:
- Uncomplicated upper respiratory tract illness – the most common clinical spectrum of COVID-19 illness presenting with fever, dry cough, headache, sore throat, fatigue, runny nose / sneezing and general unwell feeling.
- Mild pneumonia – presenting with symptoms like chest pain and dyspnea.
- Severe pneumonia – presenting with symptoms of severe pneumonia like chest pain, dyspnea, reduced oxygen saturation in the blood.
- Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome – presenting with respiratory failure with hypoxemia of varying degrees.
- Sepsis and septic shock – presenting with multiple organ dysfunctions.
