Laboratory Diagnosis

• Specimens: mainly nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal swab from ambulatory patients and endotracheal aspirate or Broncho-alveolar lavage from patients with severe disease.
• Tests: RT-PCR confirms COVID-19 infection.
