STEP 1 : Assessment

• Expose entire body
  
• Assess temperature ( for hypothermia or hyperthermia)
• Assess for skin lesions, wounds , rashes ( ANAPHYLAXIS, INFECTION) , bites (INSECT, DOG, SNAKE)
• Assess burns

i. Hypothermia

• Remove wet clothing
• Dry patient
• Cover patient
• Warm fluids

ii. Hyperthermia

• Cool patient
  
• Anti-pyretic

• Remove constricting clothing
• IV fluids
• Anti-biotics

iv. Bites

• Appropriate vaccine

• Log Roll
